Mitten Minute: Pistons Tie Franchise Record — Cade or Isiah?
With the Pistons this hot — and Cade Cunningham playing at a superstar level — here’s the question of the day for Detroit fans:
If you’re starting a Pistons team today, is it Cade Cunningham or Isiah Thomas? Comment below.
The Detroit Pistons are on fire. They tied a franchise record last night with their 13th straight win, beating the Indiana Pacers 122–117. Cade Cunningham posted 24 points and 11 rebounds, Jalen Duren added 17 and 12, and Caris LeVert contributed 19 as Detroit improved to an incredible 15–2.
The Pistons now look ahead to tomorrow night’s showdown at Boston Garden as they attempt to set a new franchise record.
On the ice, the Red Wings fell 4–3 to the New Jersey Devils, who snapped a three-game losing streak. Alex DeBrincat, James van Riemsdyk, and Dylan Larkin found the back of the net, and the Wings outshot the Devils 35–20, but couldn’t complete the comeback.
In college hoops, the number-seven Michigan Wolverines crushed San Diego State 94–54 and now face number-21 Auburn tonight at 8:30 PM on TNT.
On the women’s side, the MSU Spartans dominated Oakland 102–41, led by Kennedy Blair’s career-high 25 points.
Meanwhile, the number-11 Michigan State men take on ECU this afternoon at 1:00 PM on FS2 in the Fort Myers Tip-Off.
