Mitten Minute | November 29
A tough Thanksgiving for the Detroit Lions, who fell to the Green Bay Packers 31–24 at Ford Field. Jordan Love tossed four touchdowns as Detroit struggled to generate any defensive pressure — zero sacks, only two QB hits, and just one tackle for loss on the day.
Jameson Williams was a bright spot, hauling in 144 yards and a touchdown, but the Lions lost Amon-Ra St. Brown to an ankle injury. Early reports say he may miss a couple weeks but won’t be placed on IR. Detroit went 0-for-2 on 4th down and despite more first downs and longer possession, they couldn’t close it out.
Detroit Pistons
The Pistons host the Orlando Magic tonight in an NBA Cup matchup at 7:30 PM.
Paolo Banchero has been ruled OUT, while Jaden Ivey is questionable (reconditioning). Detroit looks to start a new streak after last night’s loss.

The Red Wings trail the Lightning 4–2 late in the second period as they try to claw back. Detroit’s inconsistency continues to raise questions about their ability to hold leads and stay in the playoff picture.
Michigan State Spartans
No. 11 Michigan State delivered a strong performance, rolling past No. 16 North Carolina 74–58. Jeremy Fears Jr. led the way with a career-high 19 points.
The MSU women take on Temple tonight at 6:30 PM.
